It was definitely the "most wonderful time of the year" for Lauren and Brian last December.  Lauren, a labor and delivery nurse, met Brian, a principal, through Brian's aunt.  They were set up on a blind date and the rest is history! These two amazing human beings got married at the historic St. Michael's in Old Town.  With the intricate details of the church in the background, Lauren and Brian's closest friends and family watched as they exchanged vows.  Brian's aunt, who set them up, was even the flower girl! 

The Chicago Cultural Center set the stage for a night of fun and dancing.  Of course it was fitting that they entered their reception to the song "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". The speeches did not disappoint either.  From the Father of the Bride speech filled with sound effects to the reminiscent speech from the maids of honor, laughter and tears filled the room! It was a spectacular evening for a spectacular couple! Congratulations Lauren and Brian!

On a cold January afternoon, Sandi and Mike happily took their wedding vows to become husband and wife. Despite the chill outside, a major party heated up at Salvage One shortly afterward that was perfectly personalized and colorful. The bride's aunt provided the gorgeous florals, the groom handmade several amazing art pieces like a replica of the iconic Chicago Theatre sign, two gigantic sugar skull wood pieces and a "love" lettered sign that lit up and complimented Salvage One's eclectic atmosphere. The reception was moving as well with a touching moment of silence and prayer for Sandi's grandfather who had passed away just days before, an outstanding performance by their mariachi band and dancing galore. This wedding is one to remember!

When we were contacted by Renae of City Savvy Imaging to help plan a styled shoot, we couldn't have been more excited! We absolutely love all things winter and pretty, and Renae had some incredible ideas we couldn't wait to help execute. We helped Renae pull together incredible details like the gold chargers and beautiful vintage rentals, and then. That. Dress. Kpoene at Mignonette Bridal outdid herself. Once we had that, everything fell into place beautifully. It was a frigid day, but we warmed it up with the candlelight and the love of our models, who are a real-life couple! Winter weddings are some of our favorites, and we hope to have provided some inspiration for your intimate, cozy wedding.

Congratulations to the lovely Audrey & Neil! They had an intimate and heartfelt wedding at the DANK German Cultural Center.  Beautiful dinnerware from Vintage Place Settings, zillions of mercury glass votive holders and the soft blush, cream and gold color scheme paired beautifully with the charming and ornate Skyline Lounge. It was a beautiful day and we wish this adorable couple a lifetime of happiness!

These two absolutely wonderful people got married on a gorgeous day in December! It was a beautiful, sunny day as they said their vows at St. Michael's, and cozy and warm inside the Newberry Library for the reception. We had a blast coordinating with these two! Warm, funny, kind, super-smart, and EXCELLENT dancers, Lauren + Justin make a beautiful pair. Congratulations, you two! Thank you for letting us be a part of such a fun, magical day!
