Another beautiful evening with the One Acre Fund! They met their goal of $1 Million dollars raised for supplies for smallholder farmers in East Africa with asset-based financing and agriculture training services to reduce hunger and poverty.

AELO Events | Singh Summer Celebration, June 21 - 22

It was a gorgeous summertime celebration for the Singh family! We loved planning with Prerna and Ajay for the celebration of their daughter’s college graduation and Ajay’s mother’s 80th birthday. It was quite a party over two days, and we couldn’t have been happier to help make it happen! Congrats, Singh family!

AELO Events | Define American Film Festival, 4/20-23

When Define American approached us to help plan their annual film festival, we were thrilled to be considered, and then honored to be chosen. It was an undertaking unlike any AELO has seen, and it was a massive success! Guests enjoyed an art installation of portraits of Dreamers by Helday De La Cruz, a VR demonstration, gained some knowledge at a census exhibit, took part in thought provoking discussions, laughed through a comedy night, and of course enjoyed the important films telling these stories. After each screening, guests enjoyed informative panels, featuring Nico Santos, Bambadjan Bamba, Reshma Shetty, Bethany Yellowtail, Paola Mendoza, Ala'a Basatneh, and many others.

From their website, "Define American is a non-profit media and culture organization that uses the power of story to transcend politics and shift the conversation about immigrants, identity, and citizenship in a changing America." This important work is done by a talented, dedicated, and wonderful team, with whom we had the pleasure to work for the planning process and three day weekend. AELO Events | Styled Shoot with City Savvy Imaging, 2/21/16

When we were contacted by Renae of City Savvy Imaging to help plan a styled shoot, we couldn't have been more excited! We absolutely love all things winter and pretty, and Renae had some incredible ideas we couldn't wait to help execute. We helped Renae pull together incredible details like the gold chargers and beautiful vintage rentals, and then. That. Dress. Kpoene at Mignonette Bridal outdid herself. Once we had that, everything fell into place beautifully. It was a frigid day, but we warmed it up with the candlelight and the love of our models, who are a real-life couple! Winter weddings are some of our favorites, and we hope to have provided some inspiration for your intimate, cozy wedding.

What's better than planning a wedding with a wonderful family? Planning the post-wedding birthday brunch for the FOB! After the incredible night Lizzie + Travis had, The Guesthouse Hotel was so accommodating and the perfect setting to ring in Sam Lovelady's 60th year. Gussied provided the music, and Ingrid captured the beautiful morning perfectly! We loved being a part of this wonderful family's weekend!
