Not to jump the gun, but welcome to the coolest couple of 2015! Chris and Val are hilarious, gorgeous, unique, and just absolute dream clients. We had so much fun with them before the wedding, and the day of was just gorgeous! The rain provided a great backdrop, and they got lucky before the wedding with some awesome clouds at the Planetarium. The centerpieces, card box, and ceremony piece were designed by Val and made by Chris, and they looked amazing. After 17 years of dating, they finally tied the knot, and it was an honor to be a part of all the joy.

Rock, Chalk, J-Hawk! Our own Samantha Johnson was more than thrilled to find out that Andrea was a fellow Kansas alum, and may have squealed a bit when the J-Hawk inspired cake was delivered. This was our first wedding at one of the city's lesser known venues, the Italian Sports Hall of Fame, which happens to have an incredible 4th floor rooftop deck with one of the best skyline views in Chicago. The rain threatened all day to keep us from using the space, but at the last minute the skies cleared, and we were able to make the couple very happy by having the outdoor ceremony they'd hoped for. Andrea's bright yellow sunflowers, adorable details, and a really fun group of guests made this one of our 2014 favorites!
