Many congratulations to Renata and Colin who were married on a spectacular June day. City Winery was the perfect venue for this music loving couple (their first date was at a Talking Heads cover band concert!) as it played a major part of their ceremony - Renata walked down the aisle to a beautiful unplugged rendition of "Here, There, Everywhere" sung by her sister and their readings included lyrics from Patti Smith's "I Was Looking for You' and Railroad Earth's "Right on Tune". Thanks to University Flowers the concert venue was transformed into a delightful array of mason jars filled with dried lavender and fresh blooms (IT SMELLED SO GOOD) and The Chicago Catz got everyone up on their feet!

We could't be happier for these twO and wish them a lifetime of happiness!

AELO Alumni | Erin + Chase, 4/2/17

Hey, remember that absolutely gorgeous styled shoot we did back in 2016? Well, that beautiful couple tied the knot for real back in April! And they happen to be great friends of ours, so Carolyn got to be a bridesmaid while Lauren and Kaitlin ran the show.

Erin and Chase aren't just models though...they are hilarious, kind, generous, and know how to party. It is such a great honor to be trusted with a friend's big day, and this was no exception. They had a lovely ceremony, performed by Erin's father, delicious food by Antique Taco, and a dance party that didn't stop until the lights were on. The biggest Cubs fans, the sweetest loves, the most beautiful of couples, it was an incredible day that we won't be forgetting any time soon!

Congratulations, E&C! We love you so much, and wish you the most happiness in the world!

What a perfect pair. We absolutely loved Meryl and Dave's wedding! The gorgeous neutrals, the packed dance floor, and if this bride isn't channeling Audrey Hepburn, right? We knew this was going to be an excellent wedding the second we met these two! They knew how to let go, relax, talk to their people, and let us do all the work. It was a wonderful start to what we know will be a wonderful life together. Congratulations, Meryl + Dave!

AELO Alumni | Alicia + Brandt 8/22/15

AELO met Alicia through the American Cancer Society, when we all came together to work on the Black and White Ball, so we were thrilled when she asked us to coordinate her wedding! The theme was "Old Chicago" and it didn't disappoint. The beauty of the old St. James Chapel set the tone. The dark tones of the stained glass windows and the melodic tones from choir, which was comprised of close friends of the bride, helped add to the feel. The theme continued at the historical and magnificent Germania place. Alicia and Brandt were gloriously in love, and we were so proud to be a part of her day!

In true Grey's Anatomy fashion, Christiana and Matt met when she was his resident at the hospital where they both work as doctors. Christiana's mother even had a fake newspaper printed for all of their guests, explaining not only their origin story, but the events of the weekend to unfold. They had a stunning ceremony at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing at the beautiful Palmer House hotel. The traditional Greek family dances were a highlight of this lovely wedding, and everyone had a blast!
